It's no secret that Utah's home design scene is hot, hot, hot! The Utah Valley Parade of Homes showcases a design boggling group of model homes every year. This week's SuperModel comes from the 2017 Parade, in Mapleton,Utah. Built by Arive Homes, this home called the Kate packs a stunning design punch on the inside and outside. What's trending now:
Black windows, narrow mullions.
Grey stone work
Black gutters
Decorative railings
Mixed use of wide Hardie siding.
So many thoughtful details especially using semi flush mount lighting in the kitchen vs. pendants.
Great use of mixed walnut color and white on kitchen cabinet, then tying those colors back in through cabinetry in the open concept dining room. There are a lot of patterns going on in the space but through a unified color palette, it works well without seeming too busy.
The glass finials add a fabulous transitional touch to the stair railing. For a Builder, it's these types of details that a home shopper will remember when they leave the tour.
The slanted ceiling is always tricky to design around and this room really packs a "wow" factor to an otherwise "regular" bedroom. Planning for wall sconces is an easy thing to forget in new construction. Love to see great design planning!
Can't get enough of these custom wall treatments and the trim work.
Tour more homes by Arive Homes here. It's so great to see new Home Builders that take advantage of every little detail to express creativity and beauty their work. Bravo!
